The mission of Omega Phi Alpha is service, and it is our hope that our members will be lifelong, service-minded leaders. What better way to live the principles of Omega Phi Alpha than by continuing to give back to the sorority through a variety of volunteer opportunities! Your time commitment can be as large or as small as you would like it to be.

You can share your skills to the betterment of the sorority by volunteering locally or nationally.

If you live near a local chapter you can assist by becoming an alumnae adviser to that chapter, volunteer to be a guest speaker at a chapter meeting, help organize leadership retreats, or provide that chapter with financial support.

You can also serve at the district level and provide support to several chapters in your area. You can serve as a Traveling Leadership Consultant (TLC) and provide training and support to chapters at district retreats. You can serve as a Director of Alumnae Activities to promote more alumnae participation in your area. You can also start an alumnae chapter in your area.

In addition, you can serve at the national level by running for a position on the National Executive Board, or you can petition an NEB officer for a national appointment such as scholarship trustee, insignia coordinator, convention coordinator, service chair, awards chair, and many more!

You may even consider becoming involved on the Alumnae Board of Directors where there are many projects underway to promote alumnae participation in Omega Phi Alpha activities.

Finally, you may have a specialized skill that could help the sorority. Some examples include: events coordinator, newsletter editor, legal counselor or certified public accountant.

Please consider giving your time and talents back to Omega Phi Alpha. You will never regret it!
